We did the husky safari with Taigausko and it was honestly one of the highlights of our entire trip... a memory we’ll keep for life. It was really important to me to book with someone who genuinely cares about their dogs, and you can feel that straight away here. The owner is clearly passionate, and the animals are well looked after and loved. I’d never choose price over ethics with something like this, and I’m so glad we chose Taigausko. The ride itself was long (in the best way) and absolutely beautiful. Proper wilderness around Inari, away from the touristy feel. There were only three small groups, and two of those were my family, so it felt really private and relaxed. Afterwards we got to spend time meeting the dogs and then sat around the fire with tea and cake while the owner shared more about the dogs and his life. It was such a genuine experience from start to finish. We drove 1hr 30 from Saariselkä in a rental car and it was 100% worth it. I’m genuinely glad we did this instead of one of the more mainstream tours in town. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience at Taigausko Husky Experience. The dogs were treated really well and they have plenty of space and get lots of love. We had a lot of fun and highly recommend them. After the sledging and the dog cuddles we had a lovely campfire with tea and cake.

Unforgettable beautiful tour with Siberian huskies. Not a short tourist ride but a long sleigh ride through the woods. It is important to dress very warmly and prepare yourself for the cold!!!! Definitely recommended!!

We had three wonderful hours with Tuomas and his huskies. The location is very remote and idyllic, right in the middle of the forest. We took a tour with the husky sled. Tuomas started by introducing each dog that was part of the team. The way he interacts with the dogs is very loving. Afterward, there was an introduction to sled driving. The explanation was very clear, and Tuomas paid close attention during the ride to ensure everything was safe, so we felt very secure. The scenery was breathtaking, and sledding was so much fun! **Tip:** Make sure to dress very warmly! The wind during the ride makes it very cold. After the tour, we enjoyed tea and pastries by the campfire, and Tuomas shared many stories and answered all our questions. We can highly recommend Taigausko. It was an amazing experience!

What an amazing experience! Tuomas and Elisa were both fantastic. We were interested in a smaller more intimate experience and that is exactly what they provided. They answered all of our 4 years olds questions, let him explore, and even pulled him on a little sled through their camp. The love that they have for all of there dogs is evident. They gave us proper instructions on how to handle the dog sled and even stopped to take some amazing family photos along the way. I would highly recommend booking your Lapland dog sledding experience with Taigausko, you won’t be disappointed!
