Amalia was so kind and responsive helping guide my grandmother on her day trip to a local Swiss farm. My grandmother discovered her great grandfather was from Lucerne and also having her own farm at home, we knew this would be the perfect tour for her. It was one I know she’ll never forget, and truly a highlight of her bucket list trip to this beautiful country. We had the BEST time on our trip! Monika was our tour guide and she was wonderful. She shared so much about Swiss culture, history, and mountaineering. The lodging was amazing, views and hikes were more than we could have hoped for, and everything on our trip felt safe, fun, and truly a once and a lifetime experience. We did a lot of research on tour companies and My Mountains/ECHO Rails far exceeded our expectations. Monika took us on custom tours, gave us great tips for dinners and shopping, and the trip was the perfect balance of breathtaking hiking and cultural experiences in the towns we stayed in. You also cover so much of Switzerland by foot, train, gondola, bus, and boat. It was truly a once in a lifetime trip.
As a first time skier, Andrea was so patient with myself and my 15 year old. His passion for the support and for Switzerland really made this an exciting trip. He is super flexible and I can honestly say I will be coming back. I highly recommend My-Mountains for any time of year travel experiences. I took a full day of individual ski lessons with Andrea and I loved it! Despite the fact that I had already taken 3 classes before with other teachers, I had not yet managed to stop in parallel. He not only helped me with that, but also to improve my technique and learn to trust the process. I'm a bit of a fearful person, so I appreciate that Andrea has been very patient with me. Engelberg is a very good place to learn and we were lucky to have a sunny day! 100% recommended for people who want to learn from scratch. If you decide to take the class alone, you won't get bored in the lifts... Andrea has very good stories to tell!
