We left the car up by the main road, but we should’ve driven about one more kilometer down the concrete road to reach the park entrance. The trail is good, but it definitely requires some strength — it can be tough for kids and seniors. The rocks are slippery. There are two picnic tables by the waterfall. It’s about 2.5 km one way.
Really nice hiking. Entrance 5€, children under 15 years for free. Its better to park upper, close to the village. The hike is approximately 3 hours (all the way to the beach and back with the breaks for the photos)
The most exotic place in crete I write this and went there beginning of September, while the weather is hot and Crete super dry, this waterfall still runs Just think you need a 30 min hike (not difficult), 30min back as well If you need some rest from the beaches and sun, come here
