A Session is a traditional Irish gathering where musicians, dancers, poets, and storytellers come together in an informal, lively celebration of culture. In Renvyle, a group of local artists has reimagined this beloved tradition by weaving in elements of drama. Guided by Ireland’s largest organization for the preservation of traditional music, their performance uses music, dance, and storytelling to deliver a powerful and emotional portrayal of the Great Famine’s devastating impact on the West of Ireland.
The second half of the show invites the audience to become part of the Session. Guests are encouraged to join in the fun by learning traditional Irish folk dances. In true Session spirit, those who can sing or play an instrument are warmly welcomed to take the floor and share their talents. It’s a vibrant, participatory celebration that brings Irish heritage to life in a way that is both heartfelt and unforgettable.

We booked as part of a hen weekend and we had a fantastic time. Siobhán was so easy and helpful to deal with from booking to the actual class. A great experience had by all would highly recommend to groups
Siobhan was a lovely and welcoming instructor with an encyclopedic knowledge of traditional Irish music and dance. she was patient with beginners and helped create a sense of accomplishment. She also challenged us and demonstrated how far one can go. i learned A LOT, had fun and feel like i could carry on with Irish dance. A truly authentic experience.
Awesome experience it was so special sharing laugh and fun with all the participants. It's true: dance is a form of language that get closer people! We came from different parts of the world but at the end of lesson we were a little bit Irish. it was such a great experience that makes you spiritually rich!

We attended The Irish Dance experience for my Sisters Hen last weekend! Thoroughly enjoyed by all, we had a ball! Siobhan is amazing & has the patience of a saint 😅 Organising from overseas was made so easy by Siobhan, there was never any stress involved! Would highly recommend for anyone on the fence for hen parties, definitely works up the thirst for the rest of the day!
