I booked Cleopatra Spa (through Booking.com) because of its competitive pricing compared to hotel spa treatments. Unfortunately, the overall experience was disappointing. While the staff were polite and clearly trying their best, the spa felt very crowded and impersonal. Guests were constantly moved from one area to another, with repeated instructions to “relax,” which felt more mechanical than genuinely calming. The waiting times between treatments were very long and disrupted the whole experience. The massage therapists appeared overworked and exhausted, and although they were doing their best, this clearly affected the quality of the massage. I understand that the lower price comes with lower expectations, but I was hoping for better organisation and a more relaxing, well-managed experience. Suitable as a budget option, but not recommended if you are looking for true relaxation.

Really poor managed. I have to wait more than 20 minutes in between soap bath and massage. To be specific, the young heavier man who were responsible for this is the only one I want to explain. He was managing customers between sauna, jacuzzi and massage without any rules, and without any information given. Only got in the massage room the moment I tried to leave, and he was still slacking off. I heard similar criticisms and they said they won’t go there again, including one had the exactly same story as me. Been in many countries this is one of the worst experiences.

This was my first time visiting Egypt and also my very first time experiencing this kind of spa treatment, so everything about it was completely new to me. I honestly couldn’t have chosen a better place for my first experience. I went to the spa on my own and didn’t know what to expect, but from the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The massage was amazing — relaxing, and done with genuine care. The owner/manager was incredibly polite and kind, which made the whole experience even better. You can really feel the respect and passion they have for their work and their guests. I’m truly grateful for this beautiful experience and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Egypt or anyone looking for a great massage. I’ll definitely remember this as a special part of my trip.

Firstly, they tried to charge me around €8 for a supposed “debit card bank commission” from their bank. I refused, and they eventually reduced it to €2. Not a great start. Once inside, the experience was completely rushed. You’re moved quickly from the sauna to the spa with no chance to relax. Staff came in every few minutes, speaking loudly and hurrying everyone along. As others have mentioned, they also reuse wet towels between customers, which is unacceptable. (To be fair, the scrub and foaming treatment by Mahmoud was genuinely pleasant and relaxing.) Unfortunately, things became significantly worse. I booked a medical massage with another employee, and he began touching me in a highly inappropriate way. This behaviour was completely unprofessional and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. To top it all off, the moment the massage ended, they practically forced me to take out my phone on the spot and write a glowing review of their services. Absolutely absurd. Overall: atrocious customer service, scam-like behaviour, and—most seriously—sexual harassment by at least one therapist. Stay away from this place for your own safety.

Went for a spa session today at this place based on the reviews I read online, and I wasn't disappointed at all... I went for the Cleopatra VIP package, which included literally everything- Sauna, Steam/Salt room, Jaccuzzi, Full body scrub, Turkish bath/massage and then finished off with a Deep tissue massage. My masseuse Noura was exceptional... She's so good at what she does...my skin and whole body felt so soft and relaxed. Would definitely go again if the opportunity arises.
