My wife enjoyed our time with Tahoe tastings, on beautiful Lake Tahoe. Steve O, our captain, was very knowledgeable regarding Vikingsholm, in Emerald Bay. Kelsey was our host and wine expert. She explained the nuances of each wine we were poured. She too, was very knowledgeable about the area. We loved this tour and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys wine, boating and the natural beauty of Lake Tahoe.
Strongly recommend this boat tour with wine tasting. Kelsey and our captain were friendly and informative. We tasted 8 california wines, none if which disappointed. The tour visited Emerald Bay and we were told the history of the bay and Vikingsholm castle. On the way back to the marina, we had chance to enjoy an additional glass of our preferred wine at reasonable prices. The boat is a classic wooden 1950s Chris Craft and the experience will be a much smaller, child-free group than is likely on other tour boats. So glad I found this tour option.
