Karen

I did the legends of Bruges walking tour yesterday (10 January). Emiel was the guide and although it was absolutely freezing cold Emiel made it interesting and kept checking that everyone was warm enough. Emiel is from Bruges and also a history teacher so is very knowledgeable about the local area. Thanks Emiel from Karen from Kent

It was super fun. Brugge is a very beautiful place & the time was enough for grabbing quick lunch, take boat ride & walk around the town.

Luc D is an exceptional guide: he managed a huge group in the rain on New Years Eve and made sure we could all see and hear clearly, and found good places to shelter us in dry spots. He has such a great sense of humour and was very friendly and helpful. I learned so much that I would never have found on my own or in a guide book. Such a great experience and I highly recommend it.

We had Brecht as a stand in guide for the English group on a Friday and he was amazing! As a local, he really knew his history and the personal stories about his family connections to Bruges were lovely to hear about. Thank you so much 🙏🏻

We booked the self guided tour which was great, the drive wasn’t too bad, learned some history as we drove through different cities, perfect amount of time in Bruges. We ended finding our own cruise for cheap while being there.

We did the "Dark Side" night tour of Bruges with our guide, Martin. He was terrific -- Had many stories and legends to tell us as we walked around some of the Bruges neighborhoods. I liked that he spoke loudly and was easy to hear (we had a very large group of 24 people on the night we took the tour so that can get a little tricky). My wife and I had done a bike tour earlier in the day, so we weren't sure whether to do this night walking tour. I highly recommend that you do it. You see a totally different side of the city at night. The lights and canals and buildings seem to stand out even more. And one huge plus is that there are far fewer people around the city at night, so it's much less crowded. It's just kind of a part spooky, part romantic atmosphere that you simply don't get during the day with the big crowds everywhere. I felt like I got some of the best photos from our entire trip to Belgium (Ghent, Bruges, Brussels) on this night tour.

The day trip was planned well with stops enroute for comfort of tourists. Bruges is an amazing place to visit for its beautiful canals, buildings, churches, clock tower, waffles, tapestry work, chocolates and beers.

Our Historical Bruges tour was really the best! Our guide was Natalie and she conducts one of the best "city/history" tours we have ever been on. Knowledgeable, funny, great stories, and she ties everything together in thread fashion so as the tour comes to life, it also makes historical sense. Compliment and tip her well as she is worth every euro!
