Over centuries, volcanic activity and the natural phenomenon of bradyseism gradually submerged parts of the city, preserving an incredible collection of ancient ruins beneath the sea.

Before entering the water, you'll receive a comprehensive briefing at the diving center, where experienced professionals explain the history of the site, safety procedures, and the official dive route selected for the day. After a short and comfortable boat ride, you'll descend into crystal-clear waters to explore an underwater landscape unlike any other, where history and marine life exist side by side.

During the approximately 45-minute guided dive, you'll swim past remarkably preserved Roman villas, elegant marble floors, intricate mosaics, and ancient statues that have rested beneath the sea for centuries.
