Just returned from the best weekend at The Bear Den in Big Bear with our family of four, and can't recommend it enough! This cozy cabin provided the perfect backdrop for our children's first snow experience - a memory we'll cherish forever. The location is absolutely ideal - close to Big Bear Village and surrounded by countless family-friendly activities and restaurants. We loved being able to quickly get to sledding spots in the morning and still make it back for afternoon naps without long drives. Inside, the cabin is clean, spacious, and warm with big beds and fluffy blankets. The bathrooms are updated with modern fixtures that made our stay feel luxurious. Roku TVs in the living areas and each room allowed us to log into Netflix and all our favorite streaming services for movie nights. The reliable WiFi kept everyone connected. One feature we particularly appreciated was the motion-activated soft lighting along hallways - perfect for those middle-of-the-night trips to check on the kids without disturbing everyone with bright overhead lights. If you're planning a family getaway to Big Bear, look no further than The Bear Den. Just got back from the best Big Bear weekend! The cabin was so comfortable and fit our two families so well. The kids loved that they got to have their own room with bunkbeds! The host was super responsive when I had a hard time finding something in the cabin. It is so close to the Alpine slide and town which makes it so convenient. We can't wait to stay again!
