Sea Safari Camp- Scaly Squad

The Summer Camp at the Kemah Aquarium offers an immersive and educational experience designed to spark curiosity and creativity in young minds. Campers will step into the exciting roles of Marine Biologists and Herpetologists, exploring the fascinating worlds of marine and terrestrial animals. Each day combines hands-on learning, interactive activities, and behind-the-scenes exploration to uncover the mysteries of ecosystems. From examining fish anatomy, dissecting squid, and caring for reptiles, to exploring coral reefs and kelp forests, participants gain a rich understanding of species adaptations, ecological balance, and environmental conservation. Along the way, children engage in themed activities, theatrical play, and scientific investigations that reinforce their learning while fostering teamwork, critical thinking, and creativity. Throughout the week, campers also enjoy fun excursions and recreational activities on the Kemah Boardwalk, including rides, train adventures, and interactive games. All activities are supervised by trained Aquarium Educators with child safety as a priority, ensuring a secure and enriching environment.
