Manhattan to Bronx via Bronx River Greenway

This guided bike tour explores City Island in the Bronx, taking riders along some of New York City’s best hidden greenways. Many of these greenways are difficult to find due to lack of signage, but the tour ensures you follow the best route with guidance from an experienced leader. Riders will travel up to Pelham Manor in Westchester County using the Bronx Greenway System. The ride includes approximately 20 minutes on local streets to reach the greenways, giving participants a mix of city riding and scenic paths. An optional ferry ride is available to take participants to and from the Soundview section of the Bronx, bypassing most local streets for a more relaxing experience. While this option skips the Randall’s Island greenways, riders can choose a combination of riding and ferry travel to suit their preferences.
