SSI React Right Course Trains Divers in Emergency Response and First Aid
The SSI React Right program is an emergency first response course designed to prepare participants to act confidently and effectively in medical emergencies. It provides a flexible training structure that allows students to focus on key areas such as primary assessment, first aid, CPR, and initial stabilization techniques.
The course also includes essential training relevant to diving-related emergencies, including oxygen administration and the basic use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). By combining theoretical learning with practical scenarios, the program ensures participants gain hands-on experience in responding to real-life emergency situations.
A strong emphasis is placed on building both competence and confidence, enabling trainees to remain calm and take appropriate action when urgent care is required. The training is structured to be accessible while still covering the critical skills needed for effective first response.
Upon completion, participants are certified as emergency first responders. This qualification equips them to provide first aid, perform CPR, administer oxygen, and use an AED when necessary, making the course valuable for both diving contexts and general everyday safety preparedness.
