We feel so fortunate to have spent an incredible day together with our host George in beautiful Ioannina. George was beyond amazing and set up the most wonderful guided food tour of the city. His deep passion and knowledge for his home town was so insightful and his personal and unique selections for authentic/ local eateries with the most delicious cuisine were divine. We especially loved our cheese tasting at Eleftheria and our spinach pie demonstration and traditional lunch at Paris Resturant -Arte Povera . In addition George selected our guide for our hikes in Zagoria which were beyond breathtaking . We were so impressed with George’s attention to detail and his love for his work that we recommend him in the highest regard and would love to work with him again! Anyone coming to ioannina MUST spend a day with George to truly capture the most of the city and have an authentic, fun, perfect day!!! You will be sad to say goodbye to Ioannina and George!!!

George was absolutely wonderful. He’s knowledgeable and friendly. Our party of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our private full day tour. The Souli Castle was amazing. The views on our trip were breathtaking. George took us to a small local restaurant that served their own vegetables, meat and even cheeses. Lunch was exceptional. George takes great thought in designing his tours. He is a top notch tour guide and I do not think you could find anyone better. If you want the best, George and Epirus Adventures is the only one I would recommend.
