I had no idea that CDMX had such beautiful parks. This one is the crown jewel, and the castle is an amazing gem, uh, within that jewel. Lots of other visitors there, which isn’t usually my cup of tea, so plan accordingly

This is a HUGE park and I spent most of two different days here. I recommend the zoo and the botanical gardens. Lots of statues. Great for walking and seeing plants.

An incredible green oasis in the heart of Mexico City! Bosque de Chapultepec is truly one of the most beautiful and impressive urban parks in the world. It’s not just a park — it’s a vast cultural, historical, and natural treasure that captures the essence of Mexico City. The location is unbeatable, right in the center of the city, offering a peaceful escape from the busy streets while surrounding you with art, history, and nature. You can spend an entire day here and still discover something new. The park is home to iconic museums like the Museo Nacional de Antropología, Museo de Arte Moderno, and Castillo de Chapultepec, each offering incredible insights into Mexico’s past and creativity. There are also beautiful walking paths, lakes with boats, food stands, and areas perfect for picnics or quiet relaxation under the trees. The atmosphere is welcoming and vibrant — families, joggers, artists, and tourists all sharing the same space. It’s safe, clean, and very well maintained. The staff and vendors are friendly, adding to the charm of the experience. Whether you come for culture, exercise, or simple tranquility, Bosque de Chapultepec is a must-visit — the true green heart of CDMX.

Beautiful park, very well-kept, and the grounds are amazing. Everything is so green, and as a single female, I felt safe. There is so much to see and do in this park, with museums, monuments, and small animals & birds. I could walk around for hours just soaking up nature, and I didn't even see half of it. If you really want to experience the park, I suggest you take a whole day. Make sure you bring comfortable shoes for a lot of walking, a hat, sunscreen, water, and mosquito repellent. Entrace into the park is free, but museums charge. It is easy to get to, as there are 3 metro stations that you can use to get to the park. If you get hungry, there are many vendors selling snacks and trinkets. There are clean bathrooms too, at only 5 pesos entry, but make sure you bring 5 peso coins as change is not available. The infrastructure of this park is amazing, well done to CDMX.
