Untrained and apathetic staff. Went there for a click and collect on 7 Dec, and was informed that it wasn't possible to get me a VAT receipt for my click and collect because they were too busy, and would have to come back the following day. I was expecting click and collect to have them details but unfortunately not. I waited until the desk was free and was told there was only 3 people in the shop with access to the computer, and one of which, who told me it would only take 5 mins to get it if he logged in.... wouldn't as he was due to go on lunch and was 2 hours overdue. Either they are so understaffed, everyone is overwhelmed and just disengages, or no one really cares. Not the first bad experience I've had in this shop and woodies in general, none of the staff seem to have a clue about any stock and just do a shoulder shrug. People in B&Q seem to have much better training and the shop is laid out so much better in general. Never any issues with VAT receipts.
I’m giving 4 stars because the shop has just about anything you might want. I’m deducting a star because of the patronising, almost hostile man behind the counter who spoke loudly making sure his pal, the security guy, knew exactly how stupid I was.
The shop is very nice this time of the year. There are full of Christmas trees and lights, so beautiful
