Splish, Splash & Learn Introduces Early Childhood Water Play in Honolulu
A gentle, play-based water program is helping toddlers build confidence and early developmental skills at the Ohana Splash Pad. Designed by My Treehouse Club, the “Splish, Splash & Learn” experience combines music, movement, and sensory activities to create a nurturing introduction to water for children aged 0–3.
Each session is led by trained instructors and focuses on guided interaction between parents and children. Through songs, puppetry, and playful exercises, keiki are encouraged to explore movement and sound in a safe, supportive environment while gradually becoming comfortable in the water.
The structured 30-minute class is followed by an hour of open splash time, allowing families to continue bonding and exploring at their own pace. This extended period also includes access to the Nalo Kai Lounge, offering space for preparation, rest, and relaxation between activities.
With its emphasis on emotional development, sensory learning, and parent-child bonding, the program goes beyond traditional swim lessons. It provides an early foundation for water confidence while supporting key developmental milestones through structured yet playful experiences.
