Very interesting and informative tour of the amazing Painted Hall this afternoon with Vincent, I would highly recommend the tour (doesn't cost anymore), I think on the hour the tours run. And afterwards, make time to see the chapel (this part is free of charge). Greenwich Market is good to visit at the weekend.

Visits on the first Sunday every month costs £5 each for EVERYONE. I happen to see the ill-informed review that complained about the cost. You could have come during the first Sunday of any month 😂 Anyways, if you are a fan of art, you would love this place, most of the seemingly architectural details are PAINTED ( that’s why it’s called painted hall). Make sure to take the audio guide with you while you are admiring the artwork. It is such a luxury for londoners to be able to go in and just lie on the benches and stare at the ceiling for the whole day. I am quite regretful that I did not take advantage of it when I lived nearby, but then, I was too overworked to be able to do anything on weekends.😵🤧

Stunning! This place did not disappoint. It’s worth a visit if you are in the area. We spent just about an hour wandering around and taking in the space. Easy to access via the Greenwich Pier or bus. There is also a cafe and gift shop at the entrance.

Colorful and ingenious, the Painted Hall is not to be missed if you're making the trip to the Royal Observatory. Get there early for more unobstructed views and picture possibilities.

I felt in love with this place, I can totatlly see why so many movies have been filmed here. It is impressively beautiful + it doesn't get too crowded. If it was more central, I would definitely visit here often. The "sofas" in which you can lie on are simply the perfect addition to experience and admire the hall. Everyone is super kind, specially Tommy and Sammy, who take the time to invite you to the tour.
