Highly recommend. Charlie kept everyone engaged and entertained with both deep knowledge of the London theatre history and trivia you can later mention casually at parties, and even some ghost stories. His contagious passion for theatre and charming personality more than made up for the pouring rain. The most interesting 3.5 hours, or 11k steps, of my London stay.

What a fantastic 2 and a half hours l spent with Charlie last Thursday, taking in so many of London’s west end theatre’s. We stopped outside so many, and he told me so much about its history, and little interesting stories about it,and events that took place there.’Brake a leg’,you’ll find out. Fabulous,my best day out this year. If you are looking for a walking theatre tour around London, than l would highly recommend this one.

Our family (parents and a teen) enjoyed this theatre tour with Charlie as our knowledgeable, professional, and gracious guide. Even as fairly avid theatregoers and frequent London visitors, we learned much about the people and venues that have made the West End what it is today. We highly recommend — it’s one walking tour where you can “break a leg” (and learn the origin of the phrase) without actually breaking a leg! Bravo, Charlie!
