Getting a tour of all the food in the Kyoto Nishiki market area was such an amazing experience!! We had the pleasure of having Leandra as our guide to a variety of tasty and memorable dishes. She explained the origin of each meal and taught us which sake paired well with them too. The atmosphere of each place and the aroma of all the cuisine we had surely made for an unforgettable night. We will definitely be back and we are grateful for Leandra taking her time to show us a Kyoto Night Food Tour!!
The Shinjuku Izakaya tour with Ninja Tour Guide Ms Chizuru (Chi) was a great tour. The selection of the Izakaya were amazing; the food quality and descriptions, as well as the explanation of the history of areas in Shinjuku were all presented excellently. We were very warmly welcomed and greeted by Chi, who helped our group of 10 people get to know each other from the get-go. The time went by quickly as we ate and walked through areas of Shinjuku we wouldn't otherwise have traveled. Having some Okinawa cuisine, Tonkatsu, Japanese Seafood and Sake and finally Wagyu and Sake Pairing with the finale of Hojicha Ice Cream. As the tour came to an end, and as we departed, we were pleased, satisfied and a bit more acquainted with Shinjuku. We highly recommend Ninja Tours, and especially with Chi as your guide. Our guide Chi was sociable and a delight throughout Shinjuku. The food and restaurants were excellent. The facts and tips about our food and the Shinjuku area were great additions. They accommodated people's preferences and allergies where possible. The locations chosen were definitely not ones I'd necessarily choose for various reasons. Having been to Japan before I was curious to see what surprises were in store for us and we were not disappointed. Thanks for the tour! It sounds like they change it up depending on various factors.
Ninja Food Tours was an amazing experience. The best part, Yusuke! Yusuke was amazing and was very knowledgeable about everything during our Izakaya Food Tours.
