Few foreigners dare to venture to Château Purcari — its remote location and lesser fame compared to Castel Mimi keep it off most travel maps. Yet it’s absolutely worth the journey: authentic, elegant, and steeped in character. The atmosphere feels more like a Burgundy château, with refined cuisine, excellent wines, and charming hotel rooms set just above the restaurant — a true hidden gem for wine enthusiasts.

It’s nice having a bedroom in the main building but the room itself was basic and overpriced. No kettle or water provided. The food was also incredibly expensive compared to similar vineyards. However, the Chateau has lovely grounds, and the wine is delicious. The breakfast was great. .

This 5 star goes mainly to their manager Romeo who has excellent communication skills and went above and beyond to accommodate us after there was a technical problem with my booking. The Chateau tour was good, same as wine tasting. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere. The chateau architecture is very impressive but the nature around it is even more breathtaking. I would definitely recommend this place to all my friends.

Came in without knowing that they had an event (we called in advance and no one told us) When we finally sat and ordered the food, the so called waiter came 10 minutes later and told us the food will be ready in two hours because it’s mayor’s birthday. The staff is terrible, just terrible, they have no idea what they’re doing and are very rude and dismissive. At the end we had to chase them and tell them what we ordered so we can pay and leave. I’ve never experienced anything like this before, it was juuust terrible!

The place where feels like home! We stayed with my family and celebrated the birthdays. Had very good service. Also spent a night at the hotel, which look like a medieval castle only with modern facilities ) will definitely come back!
