Phil was an amusing and extremely well-informed guide for as long as we lasted on this intriguing tour. Alas, we were the unhappy recipients of biblical downpours, culminating in so deep a puddle (no way round) off Trafalgar Square that my shoes were wholly drowned and my husband and I fled. Undeterred, we will hope to rebook in the New Year. 4 stars only because we didn't finish the walk.

We went on the Victorian Christmas Walk with Hazel. It was fantastic, we learnt so much about the history of our Christmas traditions. Hazel was a wonderful guide, knowledgeable, entertaining and friendly. We started at St Paul’s Cathedral where the bells were ringing out and finished at Somerset House with the huge Christmas tree and ice skating. We would highly recommend this walk.

A fabulous walk through A Christmas Carol with Hazel, full of unexpected gems. Hazel brings the early Victorian City to life, her great well of knowledge & love for the subject made for an unmissable day. Hugely recommended.
