This sea swim adventure takes place in the calm waters of Baia da Armacao, one of Sesimbras most protected coves. Known for its rich marine life and scenic cliffs shaped by the Serra do Risco, it offers a safe and beautiful environment for swimmers of all levels. The bay was once an active fishing harbor and today provides sheltered waters ideal for less experienced open water swimmers. With guidance from experienced leaders, you will explore rocky formations, natural hideouts and clear waters filled with vibrant marine species.
The tour begins at Marina de Sesimbra where you board a boat to the starting point near Pedra do Leao. From there, the swim route follows the sheltered coastline in an area known for its natural beauty and calm sea conditions. After the swim, the group returns by boat with a chance to spot dolphins along the way. A regional lunch is included, followed by a relaxed visit around the Sesimbra area. Safety support such as insurance and guide assistance is provided, along with boat and kayak backing for larger groups. This experience blends nature, exploration and comfort in one of Portugals most charming coastal regions.
