Stand up paddling & scooter roundtrip: Schmilka - Bad Schandau

Your adventure begins at Schmilka, where you will be provided with a stand-up paddleboard, paddle, dry bag, and a brief safety and handling instruction. After learning the basics, you will set off along the calm waters of the Elbe River, gliding through the breathtaking Elbe canyon surrounded by towering sandstone rock formations. The gentle current carries you effortlessly toward Bad Schandau, allowing you to enjoy the natural beauty of the area and the peaceful ambiance of the river. Upon reaching the landing point at the left river bank, just before the bridge, you will exchange your paddleboard for a scooter or bike to continue your journey along the scenic Elbe cycling trail. The return journey follows the river through picturesque landscapes, offering a relaxing and invigorating ride back to Schmilka. Upon arrival, the ferry will transport you back to the right river bank, where you will return the equipment at the Bio-Nationalpark Refugium.
