The Copenhagen Skirt is a stylish low waist wrap design that brings a modern and effortless look to your wardrobe. Its wide waistband, asymmetric overlap, and double front ties create a flattering silhouette that is both minimal and chic. The skirt is crafted without lining and closes neatly with a hidden side button, making it comfortable and easy to wear. This workshop invites you to explore clean lines, thoughtful construction, and creative expression while working with a contemporary sewing pattern.

Join designer Michelle for an inspiring workshop where you will learn how to create the Copenhagen Skirt from Puff and Pencil. This session is ideal for confident beginners who are familiar with essential stitches and comfortable using a sewing machine. With guidance in both English and Dutch, you will practice thoughtful techniques, refine your sewing skills, and complete a beautiful handmade skirt that reflects your own style and craftsmanship.

The coziest place to learn new skills where you are encouraged to repair or create and not buy new. The people working there are so helpful as well and I know ZERO about sewing and they have a ton of patience and tips.

I did the tote bag course and it was super nice! First time sewing and the people were amazing and very helpful!

Every city needs a great place like this! As a weary traveler with very worn pants and a badly packed suitcase, I was able to finish the half-done pair of pants I had tossed in at the last minute. Someone was (very nicely) helping a small class work on their own projects, meanwhile I got a nice sewing machine, a hot iron, and lots of table space to finish my project. They have sergers too. They have a bit of fabric, a small but well-stocked library, basic notions that you might need to get your project done. A home away from home, in short :-)

I had the most amazing time learning to sew my first tote bag with Ana. The guidance is clear and easy to follow. I had never touched a sewing machine before but after a crash course from Ana, I felt more confident to operate the machine independently. Will surely be back for a second project.

Took my first sewing class ever yesterday and cannot be happier for choosing I am Nold. After first lesson I, as absolute beginner, managed to put together nice tote back and learn a lot. Guidance provided by Natalie was brilliant and she really helped me make a progress. She was very helpful. Definitely made me motivated to take more classes and progress with my sewing. Also got some recommendation on further progress which is always nice. Like the vibe of the place, there is always nice cup of tea / coffee so looking forward to go back. If you ever wanted to learn how to saw, this is the place.
