WOW — what an unforgettable experience! I booked this tour through Viator and it turned out to be one of the best parts of my entire trip. Everything ran smoothly and professionally — but what made this experience truly next-level was our incredible tour guide, Bjsrte. I absolutely LOVED Bjsrte. From the very beginning, they brought so much warmth, excitement, and positive energy to the group. His knowledge was impressive, but what really stood out was the way he shared stories — fun, engaging, and packed with personality. Every moment felt alive because of thim! Honestly, the tour would not have been the same without him! By the end, I was smiling ear to ear and wishing the tour could have lasted longer. If you’re considering this tour, 100% book it.

We went on the fjord cruise to Nærøyfjorden + Flåm and Stegastein viewpoint a few days ago with our tour guide Bjarte. Bjarte was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide, who added to the magic of such a spectacular trip!

What an incredible experience! I hope I am getting the name right, Bjarte, our driver and guide for the tour to Tvindefossen, Naerfjord, Flam, & Stegastein, June 20, is a credit to his profession and this company. What a wonderful man, whose passion for his job, his city, the nature we drove through, and the people he has met is exceptional. I was a solo traveller today, and I although I have travelled alone, I have never done a tour like this alone. Tours like this I used to do very often with my mother. Two and a half years ago now, she passed away, and I am on my first big trip since. I chose to do this tour on my first day of 30 to remember her. I have wanted to see the fjords since I was a little boy, 25 years I have waited. I was always going to remember today. But to remember it with such warmth? Such joy? The nature, it speaks for itself. The tour, that can be many things, and Bjarte gets all the credit. Our group was friendly and fun, helping take pictures and talking about all sorts because Bjarte's energy is infectious! Who could be sad? We even had a couple of special stops to take extra pictures, including one where Bjarte took some of us. I cannot recommend this tour more highly. It has truly been one of the best experiences of my life. Bjarte, my friend, thank you so much for the most wonderful memories. Fjordrive tour- 10/10 book and enjoy!

Really well organised tour, with lots of facts and stories from the driver Bjarte. The scenery was incredible and Bjarte took us to places that we wouldn't have seen if we were on public transport. The bus itself is a nicely kitted Mercedes mini bus. Bjarte stopped regularly for us to walk around, grab a bite to eat, and take in the scenery. We took snacks with us but they weren't needed. The boat was incredible and perfect for its purpose. Being electric, it was really quiet. Quiet to the point that we could hear sheep being herded by the shepherds on shore as we sailed along! The boat had a bar on board and a decent selection of snacks. I would recommend this tour to anyone who visits Norway. Visiting the Fjords was a dream of mine and I'm glad I picked this tour.

While the tour itself was incredibly beautiful, our tour guide Bjarte really made the entire experience magical. He exudes passion and kindness and absolutely went out of his way to make sure everyone felt happy. Throughout the tour he shared many historical facts about the area, along with anecdotes about the different people and experiences he's had. It couldn't be more clear that he truly loves this job. For the tour itself, based on other reviews everyone should be very clear and read the description. You WILL have a cruise section, but this is heavily a tour on wheels driving to the various sights. The main sights on this journey are the Tvindefossen waterfall, the Stegastein Viewpoint, and finally a 2 hour fjord cruise from Flam to Gudvangen before driving back to Bergen. There are a few additional pit stops for snacks/coffee/toilets along the way. Our group had a couple extra quick stops for photos that were not on the tour description because the weather and views were particularly stunning on our tour day - nobody was complaining! The road up to the viewpoint is steep and winding, and as a single lane road can be quite a long section of stopping so please just expect that. When you arrive up there you will find the views more than worth it. We had one final hiccup in Flam; the cruise boat had maintenance issues and they actually cancelled our scheduled 15:00 departure. Bjarte of course was not having that and came to work with the folks at Flam and Fjord Cruises to get us scheduled on a 16:30 departure instead, because he was DETERMINED that we would be on the water. This of course also departed late and is just one of those hiccups that can happen...always expect the unexpected on these types of journeys. After a breathtaking boat ride, we finally arrived back in Gudvangen ~3 hours later than expected which put us into the time of evening where they do road work on tunnels. Through all of this Bjarte never lost his smile and though we were all quite tired after our journey, spirits were high. Overall I am very glad we did this and would recommend this for anyone looking for an "express" tour of the area with amazing views and a chance to be on the fjord. Final thanks again to Bjarte for being an absolutely sweet and fantastic person!
