Not clean, shower drain clogged, many other issues. Also not safe. Someone came into the room, drunk in the middle of the night. Asked staff for an answer as to how they got in the room that’s meant to be behind a key, still waiting for a reply. Wouldn’t recommend to travellers. Student accommodation at best
Avoid booking here – total scam and zero customer support. Imagine spending two days literally begging your hotel to confirm your accommodation ☺️. My reservation was never confirmed, and they refused to issue a refund. Booking through this place was money down the drain. After I made the reservation, they bombarded me with multiple threatening emails demanding I fill out a link to “confirm” the booking — or they would cancel it. The catch? The link wasn’t accessible, and Agoda wouldn’t show it to me either. I reached out via email, WhatsApp, and Agoda’s messaging system, and got no real help — just copy-paste responses. Imagine being on an overnight international flight and still having no idea whether your accommodation for the next day is even valid. On the actual reservation date, they were still sending me messages asking me to fill out the same inaccessible link, despite me clearly explaining multiple times that I couldn’t receive text messages while traveling. I spent two days trying everything to reach them and get a simple link. They ignored me, and now they’re refusing a refund — even though they failed to give me the necessary info to confirm the reservation. The whole experience was incredibly stressful and a complete waste of time and money. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else. Agoda has also provided zero support during this. They kept stringing me along and had the audacity to blame me for making alternate accommodation arrangements when I was forced to by lack of responsiveness from this property. They messaged me DAY OF still trying to send me the link via Agoda, which I had told them multiple times I can’t open (see attachments)
We arrived at the hotel tired after our journey, hoping to take a shower and relax — but unfortunately, that wasn’t possible. The tap was dripping, there was no hot water, and after they restarted the system, the water wouldn’t even drain properly. We were told we’d need to wait for hot water. All I wanted was to rest, take a shower, get ready, and start exploring Dublin. This is my first time here, and I didn’t want to spend too much on accommodation since I planned to spend most of my time outside. But honestly, it wasn’t worth it. The photos online do not reflect reality at all. The only positive thing I can mention is that the staff at the reception were kind and tried to help. Other than that, I do not recommend this place to anyone. I’ve only been here for half an hour, and I already feel uncomfortable. The room isn’t very clean, and the bedding is just okay — nothing more.
