Beautiful monument in the heart of Lille. I loved how the statue overlooks Grand’Place and gives the square a really historic, elegant atmosphere. A must‑see when you’re walking through the city centre.

This square is very nice with the statue of the deesse decorating it as its main gem. The square may have some aggressive homeless people so just watch out

Visiting the Colonne de la Déesse was one of the highlights of my trip to Lille. Despite the crowds, the area felt incredibly peaceful and well maintained. The monument itself is stunning—steeped in history and beautifully set in the vibrant Grand Place. We spent time relaxing by the fountain at its base, soaking in the atmosphere and enjoying everything Lille has to offer. Beautiful square with bars and restaurants. Tends to be quite busy specially in sunny days as it's the main square in the city. Sit outside and enjoy a nice drink while contemplating the beautiful architecture of the buildings.
