Had dinner here and we had a great time. Tasty food, great service, beautiful dining. Worth every euro spent.
Had an absolutely fantastic vegan breakfast hash here. The portion was huge and it was delicious. The cost was not cheap but I felt it a good cost/quality ratio. The atmosphere was nice, and the staff seem to operate like a finely oiled machine, getting people in, taking orders, sending the food out. We were able to order, eat and leave in 45 minutes (they didn't try to rush us, we wanted to leave). One thing to bear in mind if you want a particular menu item is that they serve breakfast until 1230 and then lunch after that.
I tried out Taste Food Company for breakfast while in Dublin, after hearing good things about their gluten-free options. They have varied menus throughout the day catering for breakfast, lunch and dinner - the interior is fairly small and typical of a local Cafe. The staff seemed friendly, and the prices were a little on the high side, but nothing more unreasonable than elsewhere in Dublin. I opted for the Gluten Free Mega Breakfast, replacing the black pudding with an extra sausage. My food was disappointing- the potato wedges were far too salty, and the sausages tasted cheap with more thickening agent than meat, I found one egg to be strange on such a large plate of food and the seeded bread as the only gluten-free bread option was also frustrating. My drink was good, I went for a freshly squeezed orange juice but overall based on my experience, I would not return.
