Couldn't recommend Hollywood Horse and Pony Trekking enough. It is my third time coming to do this trek with my boyfriend and we enjoyed ourselves just as much as the first time. The horses are well looked after and well mannered. Ray and Lisa make sure that you are put on a horse to suit your abilities, especially if you are a bit nervous they are constantly checking in on you during the trek asking how your feeling and giving you some pointers to help you along. They also split the group up if needed for those who want to canter, ensuring everyone gets the experience they want. A brilliant activity to do with family or friends around anytime of there year, I can't wait to come back.

Myself and my boyfriend went for our 7 year anniversary. We were complete beginners and had no idea about horse riding. I can safely say I am so grateful for choosing Hollywood horse and Pony trekking to be my first time. Ray is so kind, funny and comforting. He made us both feel safe immediately, we knew we were in the right hands as beginners. They even provide you with boots and helmets so everything you need is just yourself - they even provide confidence! Ray is incredibly experienced and he and his partner have trained the horses incredibly well. Every horse was so well behaved and just beautiful. The scenery is next to godly, with beautiful hills and astonishing views. Fields full of foals and horses, greenery everywhere, this truly is a paradise. Worth every single penny and we will 100% be returning for a giggle with Ray (and Lisa, she’s great) THANKS GUYS!!!

Great experience for beginner and advanced riders. Our group was all experienced equestrians, so we were able to go a bit quicker and really have some fun. Not just your average nose-to-tail ride (unless you want that, in which case that can be done). The scenery was beautiful, and Ray was a fun and lively guide. Recommend!

We booked a horse riding trek as a group of 9, most of us complete beginners, and the whole experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. The team made us feel so welcome and comfortable right away, giving clear guidance and plenty of reassurance to those of us who had never ridden before. The horses were beautifully looked after, calm, and perfectly matched to each rider, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The route itself was stunning and gave us the chance to really relax and take in the scenery while feeling safe and supported at all times. The staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a great time, and it truly showed how much they care about both their horses and their guests. We couldn’t have asked for a better day out, and it was an experience that every single one of us will remember fondly. Highly recommended for anyone whether you’re a first time rider or more experienced. Thank you so much for making it such a special day!

Wow wow What a beautiful experience for my granddaughter and her friend both teenagers but have a bit of riding knowledge. I was fortunate to get a booking for the next day I’m not suggesting you leave it that late. I was welcomed by Ray Lisa and Hannah and felt a true Irish welcome. Brooke and Poppy really enjoyed their ride out over the different terrains. You could drive the roads of Ireland but never see scenery like they seen today. The sun helped but I’d say in the snow it looks good also. I’m adding a video and some photos. We will definitely return. I bet when you see these you will want to go. Thanks for the experience. Hats and boots were available on site.
