This adventure gives you the choice between a manual shift custom-built dune buggy, accommodating up to three passengers, or a fully automatic Side by Side that seats up to five passengers. From the moment you depart, you will travel along the stunning coastline of the Bay of Banderas, with breathtaking ocean views on one side and lush jungle scenery on the other. Along the way, you will pass notable landmarks, including the Natural Marine Reserve Los Arcos. As you approach the quaint village of Mismaloya, famous as the filming location for John Huston’s movie Night of the Iguana, you will leave the paved road and follow a dirt path to another cinematic site, where The Predator starring Arnold Schwarzenegger was filmed.
The journey continues into the ecotourist nature park Edenva, featuring scenic nature trails, multiple waterfalls, and the chance for a refreshing dip using a rope swing or simply relaxing in a hammock amidst the tranquil surroundings. At this “Garden of Eden,” you can also enjoy a refreshing margarita. Next, you will explore the origins of tequila, sampling locally made traditional and flavored varieties unique to Mexico. The tour then leads to the serene village of Nogalito beside the Rio Nogalito, where you can listen to birdsong and the soothing river as you enjoy local seafood and authentic Mexican cuisine at a restaurant (food and drink not included). A fun ride back completes your memorable Unique dune buggy adventure.
