Joined the Boyne Valley Tour on 19/09. Can't remember the guides name, but he was excellent. Funny, knowledge, interesting, relaxed and very entertaining. The tour was amazing. I have wanted to visit Lochrew Cairns for many years. Only down side was watching tourists ignoring signs of warning to stay off the cairn. It is an ancient sacred site. Have some respect. If it collapses, you could be injured and 6000 years of history will be lost.
We had a great time! Derek driver #5 was an amazing driver/story teller/singer. His skill of educating us as he navigated the narrow winding roads of Ireland was top notch! He was patient and friendly- a true professional. He made it look easy!
The locations (cliffs of Mor, Darren, Galway) for our all day tour were great and worth the trip. Our bus was creaky and loud… made it hard to hear him. Our driver was very knowledgeable and we appreciated all the info he shared. He was easy to understand and was also funny. The only two things that need improvement are 1: our driver while driving the bus was on his phone ALOT !!. He hit the bumps on the lines more than 30 times and went over them frequently. Their was a mirror so I could see him holding his phone and looking up and down frequently. I couldnt relax and this made me very nervous. 2: more time at the moon rocks (burren) we only had 10 minutes. I know their is a time limit on purpose but at least 25-30 mins would have been nice Everything else was great and would probably recommend this company to other tourists as long as their driver doesn’t use their phone while driving
