This scenic ride begins with a gradual climb to Anns Pond, a peaceful spot where moose are often seen drinking at the water’s edge. From there, the trail continues upward to Anns Ridge, where lunch is served and you can stretch your legs while taking in a stunning 360 degree lookout that showcases sweeping views of the Grand Teton mountains. After enjoying the summit, the route follows the Anns Ridge Loop and then descends along the historic Bryans Flat logging road, returning to Willow Creek headquarters. This trail ride takes place entirely within the Bridger Teton National Forest and follows a full loop, offering fresh scenery throughout the journey.
Wildlife sightings are common along the way, with chances to encounter Rocky Mountain elk, mule deer, Shiras moose, red tailed hawks, and even the American bald eagle. Reaching the 8,000 foot summit rewards riders with dramatic, snow capped views of the entire Grand Teton Range, making this one of the most breathtaking vantage points in Jackson Hole. Throughout the trip, guest safety and enjoyment remain the highest priority. The operation is known for its first class summer trail rides and pack trips, supported by professional guides, experienced wranglers, high quality meals, well maintained equipment, and personalized attention for every rider.

Highly recommend this company if wanting to do a horseback riding tour! No reservation required, just showed up and they got us on a horse with practically no wait! We did the Ultimate Grand Teton View, which was absolutely gorgeous! Would recommend being comfortable on a horse to do this tour, but it was so fun for us! Definitely bring water when you go.

My boyfriend and I went on a 1 hour ride this morning with our guide Gene, I grew up riding and this was my boyfriends second time ever. First of all, I cannot say enough good things about our guide, he was amazing, very kind, knowledgeable and just an overall amazing guide! There were heavy storms the past few nights so we couldn’t do the 2 or 3 hour ride but Gene made sure we saw as much as possible in an hour without putting the horses at risk! Second, the views and the experience was just perfect! I hope we can come back again soon, thank you Swift Creek Outfitters for this wonderful experience!!

We went horseback riding with our kids, ages 15 and 12, who had zero prior experience. The staff were fantastic—friendly, patient, and clearly experienced. The horses were calm, well-trained, and made the ride easy even for beginners. We were so glad to find this place, especially since they were open on Sunday, which was our only free day. One helpful tip: when we told the Moran entrance station we were going horseback riding at Swift Creek, they said we didn’t need to pay the park fee. Overall, a great experience for the whole family!

One of the best parts of our week long trip. Would recommend to anyone age or group size. Such a great experience and horses are trained so well. No experience needed. Loved every minute of it. No reservation required and discount if paid in cash.

Nice ride. The horses are all theirs, they don't lease other people's horses, so they really do know all of their horses well. The horses were well trained to their job and seemed happy and well taken care of. We did the 2.5 hour ride and it did provide some very nice views and a couple of low water crossings. We were in the first ride of the morning and had 4ppl plus our guide on the ride.
