Full day hire on the beautiful River Wye from Byecross Campsite to the cathedral city of Hereford. Meet at Byecross, where you’ll receive a full safety and instructional briefing before setting off downstream toward Hereford. Along the way, enjoy a peaceful and scenic journey as the river winds through tranquil countryside. Once you reach the city, relax with a drink while you wait for your transport back to Byecross.

This route offers an ideal blend of gentle paddling and picturesque landscapes, suitable for all skill levels. As you glide along the river, you’ll pass lush meadows, wooded banks, and charming historic features while keeping an eye out for local wildlife such as kingfishers, herons, and otters. Nearing Hereford, the river opens up to reveal impressive views of the city skyline, highlighted by the iconic Hereford Cathedral. Please arrive at Byecross Campsite 5 minutes before your session is due to start. Park in the campsite carpark and walk through the orchard area to the canoe hire cabin by the river.
