We took the City and Cemetery tour with driver Robert and guide Susan. From start to finish it was well organized and incredibly informative, especially about the area's history. We enjoyed venturing beyond the French Quarter to several districts and City Park. The cemetery tour was fascinating. The walking tours of the cemetery and the Garden District were just right. This tour is definitely worth 5 stars!
This was a really fantastic full day tour in NOLA. I did the combined Whitney plantation and swamp tour. Kimberly was our guide on the bus and imparted lots of knowledge and fun facts about the city. Robert was our kind driver who took good care of us as well. Our boat captain was a hilarious gem of a human that cracked us up and knows alot about the swamp. We got to see alot of wildlife from alligators to wild pigs to raccoons which was a real treat. I’m glad I chose the Whitney plantation to visit since it tells the story from the viewpoint of the slaves and is quite impactful.
We did the Oak Alley Plantation and Manchac Swamp Tour with Kate and Nijaey and we are just in awe about the whole tour! Kate was a wonderful and highly knowledgeable guide that told us all about the history of Louisiana, the colonial and plantation past and the swamp lands. She did an amazing job at instructing us how to behave and where to go at each sight. The oak alley plantation tour was just so impressive and insightful and the swamp tour was a sensitive tour explaining the ecosystem in detail and made us encounter lots of alligators, raccoons, birds and even the Manchac swamp monster!! Will always recommend her and Nijaey as a wonderful guide and driver again! Thanks for the unforgettable tour!
