Florence: Cinematic Night at Santa Croce al Tempio

The concert, performed by the Tibi Ensemble, offers a cinematic journey through some of the most iconic film soundtracks of recent decades. The evening opens with the evocative music of John Williams, featuring themes from Memoirs of a Geisha, Scent of a Woman, Harry Potter, and Schindler’s List. It then moves into the unforgettable melodies of Ennio Morricone, including Once Upon a Time in America, The Mission, Malena, and Cinema Paradiso. The program continues with the poetic minimalism of Yann Tiersen, presenting selections from Amélie and Goodbye, Lenin, followed by a powerful suite of Hans Zimmer’s most beloved scores, from Inception and Interstellar to Pearl Harbor, The Gladiator, and Pirates of the Caribbean.

In the second half, the magic of Disney takes center stage with music from Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Mulan, Anastasia, and Aladdin, offering a nostalgic tribute to animated classics. The evening concludes with the elegant contemporary compositions of Ludovico Einaudi, including Experience, Nuvole Bianche, and Una Mattina, known for their emotional depth and cinematic resonance.
