The Sal Wilson Memorial Pavilion was dedicated in May 2023 to honor the life and legacy of Sal Wilson, a master timber framer and a beloved member of the Eureka community. Sal was known for his love of the outdoors, his craftsmanship, and his passion for exploring the natural beauty of the area. He was a devoted father, husband, son, brother, and a friend to many, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. The pavilion stands as a tribute to his life, his dedication to the community, and his appreciation for local parks and natural spaces. Visitors to the pavilion can reflect on Sal's contributions while enjoying the scenic surroundings, knowing that his spirit and love for the community continue to inspire and connect people. The structure provides a welcoming space for gatherings, picnics, and outdoor events, celebrating both nature and the importance of community connections.
The memorial pavilion also serves as a reminder of the value of shared spaces where families and friends can come together. It emphasizes the importance of honoring those who have positively impacted their communities and encourages visitors to appreciate and protect local parks. Military members are eligible for a discount by entering code 002 at the time of booking, with proof of service required upon check-in. This small gesture ensures that veterans and active service members are recognized and supported when visiting the pavilion. The Sal Wilson Memorial Pavilion continues to stand as a symbol of remembrance, community, and the lasting influence of an extraordinary individual.

Parked a night in our camper van! Beautiful location, right on the ocean. Friendly, helpful service. We were tourists with a lot of questions and they were eager to help and made sure we got everything we needed! Clean, well kept, with all the amenities. 5-10 minute walk up the beach leads you to some castle ruins.

Well laid out camp site, good spacious bays for a campervan and extremely quiet at night. Good WC/Shower facilites and kitchen with microwave and plenty of kettles. Just stayed a night as we had an early start in Howth the next day, would stay again. The ANPR entry is very handy for a late unattended arrival, were we in, parked and settled for the night in less than 10 minutes.

Very good spot to end your campervan vacation. Probably a good spot to start also! It will ruin all other places that you may use so be aware that there is not really a comparison. Great access to the beach also. Top rated in my opinion. Book early if you can because I would think they will fill up fast. Not a place to wash your van though.

This is a caravan park or as the Americans would know it as trailer park. There are chalets, mobile homes and glamping pods on site, location is overlooking Portrane beach oh the Irish sea. We're only at after our first night here and found it so tranquil, everyone who moves in with a caravan or RV is so nice and makes you feel part of a community. This site is ideal for anyone who does this for a holiday. There is a small shop where you can buy the essentials like milk, bread, small boxes of cereal etc but it's cash only.

Excellent campsite. We chose it for its logistics, proximity to the airport, and Westcoast Camper rentals. From the reviews, it was clear that the place was professional. I confirm the best reviews. Ideal for those like us who wanted to experience Ireland in complete freedom. Excellent cleanliness, and all the facilities are new and very clean.
