Costa Rica is recognized as one of the premier destinations for participating in marine conservation programs, offering some of the most biodiverse and stunning dive sites in the world. During this program, you will have the opportunity to train while encountering an incredible variety of marine life, including rays, sharks, tropical fish, and sea turtles. The experience blends hands-on conservation work with exciting diving adventures, allowing you to explore the ocean while contributing to the protection and preservation of its ecosystems. Participants will receive internationally recognized certifications for their training, preparing them for future conservation work and underwater exploration. Advanced Open Water certification is recommended, and participants should bring personal dive essentials such as a mask, snorkel, fins, dive computer, underwater slate, and DSMB, while all other equipment is provided. For those who have not yet achieved Advanced certification, training is available to ensure everyone meets the program requirements and can participate safely and confidently.
