Amazing history and architecture. Incredible artworks and sculptures inside. You can purchase a candle with euros or card, and then perform your own candle lighting ceremony. Wonderful to sit in the pews and reflect on how blessed we are.
There are many churches across the city, but this is not one to miss. This basilica is in a central location. When you arrive there are 2 ticket options. One is 5 euros and the other 10. The 5 euro option lets you look around the church and also into the crypt. For 10 euros you can climb the tower. The church is beautiful with columns and stain glass. There is a small store at the end where you can purchase items. The staff were friendly and spoke English.
