The Tacky Lights Wine and Pints Public Hop On Tour is the easiest and most affordable way to enjoy the festive holiday season without the stress of driving. Guests are picked up from downtown Charlottesville at IX Art Park behind Three Notch'd Brewery and transported to two of the area’s most popular holiday light displays. The tour includes round trip transportation and admission to Veritas Vineyards’ Veritas Illuminated and Brewing Tree Beer Company’s Best Lights of Christmas. Onboard the bus, complimentary bottled water, light snacks, phone charging stations, and music are provided to enhance the experience. Guests can enjoy time with family or friends while leaving the driving to the professional team. The tour operates rain or shine, and all activities at both locations are outdoors, so guests should dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes for unpaved walking paths.

The tour begins at 5 PM and ends between 9:30 and 10 PM. At Brewing Tree Beer Company, guests have an hour and a half to explore lights, a warming tent, Santa’s sleigh, and the river bar while enjoying food or drinks if desired. Next, participants visit Veritas Vineyards for a one-hour walk along a half-mile illuminated path through the woods and vineyard. The tour accommodates groups of all sizes, with a minimum of eight guests required for operation. Food, drinks, and driver gratuities are not included, and proper identification and child safety seats are required for compliance with safety laws.
