An unexpected highlight of the holiday. Ship arrived on the beach and we waded out. Once we got going the performances commenced. My children loved the actors. Adults had a great time too. Bar open towards the end. €2 prosecco Vs €4 coke!
Zero stars, the fat pirate is very aggressive, my son and I boarded from the beach at marina di venezia, and were nearly pushed off the boat, lots of other people boarded and had a walk around and left, we boarded and asked how much and do you have any literature, I'm guessing they are the same as roma gypsies
The ship and water was fine, however i was displeased of the experience and especially the head pirate. He often spoke very vulgar language and scared all of the children. Not a single child had a smile on their face. The music was not at all up to theming and was mostly popular pop music. The worst thing however was the fact that they gave all the children different “gifts” which eventually were taken from them again. These things, would maybe have justified the price of 80 euros for a family of four, however they could not even give the children a cheap flag saying they were the future of the world
It was a really fun and entertaining adventure. The ship is big, the pirates are friendly and loud and most of the activities are there for the kids to enjoy. If a kid does not want to participate, it is OK, there was no pressure - which was great because our kids are a bit shy. The tour is in Italian, English and German. The captain speaks all three languages so you do not miss anything. Make sure to apply sunscreen on and bring money to buy a pirate eye patch, a money bag or a pirate sword for your little ones! Today, my family and I went on the pirate ship tour. The tour was excellent, a huge amount of fun from start to finish. The children were entertained the entire time. It was one of the best excursions of the whole vacation. Keep it up! 5 out of 5 stars. Best regards, Michael Amprosi
