Experience the ultimate winter adventure on a 9-day Norway Ski Road Trip, exploring some of the country’s most breathtaking ski destinations along the iconic Fjord Powder Highway. Unlike the crowded resorts of the Alps, Norway offers pristine wilderness, fresh powder, and a sense of untouched adventure. Starting in Bergen, the Gateway to the Fjords, the journey takes you through spectacular landscapes of Western Norway, including scenic farmlands, vast plateaus, towering mountains, and crystal-clear rivers. The trip visits top ski resorts such as Voss, Myrkdalen, Sogndal, and Stranda, offering a mix of resort slopes, powder skiing, and backcountry challenges. Along the way, you may even witness the magical Aurora Borealis if conditions allow. This road trip isn’t just about skiing; it also showcases Norway’s rich culture, local cuisine, charming villages, and powerful fjord landscapes, all experienced with small, intimate groups for quality time in the mountains.
Throughout the trip, Outdoor Norway provides comprehensive support, including airport transfers from Bergen, transportation during the journey, and accommodation in comfortable lodges and cabins with modern amenities. Breakfasts and five dinners are included, while lunches and three dinners are enjoyed at local restaurants, offering a taste of authentic Norwegian culture. Seven full days of ski passes are provided, with experienced guides offering tips and assistance on the slopes to enhance your experience. The trip is designed for skiers and snowboarders who are comfortable off-piste and looking to explore powder skiing to the fullest, regardless of age. Travelers should bring appropriate winter clothing, personal essentials, and be prepared for long, active days in some of the most spectacular landscapes Norway has to offer. Flights are not included, and the journey concludes in Ålesund, with drop-offs at Vigra International Airport for your onward travel.
