Our room was a good size for the two nights we stayed at Bunk hostel. We used the WIFI, shower, TV, kettle and communal kitchen which was all clean and working properly. We travelled by bus around Ireland so the location was amazing as it's central and directly across from the bus station and it's near a lidl too! I will definitely recommend the hostel to friends and family and would stay again if I return on another trip. The staff members at reception and housekeeping were lovely, welcoming and helpful. Handy vending machine in the living area too. All 10/10 Disliked · No big issues but somethings to bare in mind when using the hostel. the entrance is down a alley way/drive way so I imagine during the busier months the roads would be busier and harder to manoeuvre. The living area is lovely but might be tricky when it's busy as it's quite small compared to how many rooms there seemed to be available.
Room and ensuite bathroom was clean and well priced. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Location very good for exploring Galway. Easy parking in multi storey car park next door and very reasonably priced using a voucher provided by the hostel. Only downside was that the noise from the corridor was quite loud due to the laminate flooring used in the corridor.
This place was surprisingly good for a hostel. Room was clean and tidy. Could have done with a shelf or two in the bathroom but other than that it was great. The kitchen was so useful too and was perfectly clean. I'd definitely want the kitchen towels changed more often though as they smelled pretty bad.
