We had a party here last weekend (23/11) for our twin boys 4th birthday, it was brilliant and the girl that looked after us (Natalie) was so attentive and friendly. We have visited loads of times before and it's always clean and the staff are always nice and friendly. Thanks for making the party completely stress free.

We hosted two birthday parties this year—one at Playzone for our son earlier in 2025, and another more recently at Airtastic for our daughter. The contrast between the two venues was genuinely surprising. At Airtastic, we were met with hostility and unprofessionalism from the management team, particularly from a manager named Michelle. Her approach was rude, dismissive, and unnecessarily snarky when dealing with what was a very minor and easily resolvable issue. Rather than offering assistance, she escalated tension and made the experience uncomfortable—not only for us but seemingly for the young staff working under her, who she spoke to in an equally disrespectful tone. We were also disappointed to learn that staff are not allowed to accept tips, even when offered in appreciation for their hard work. This feels especially unfair, given how much responsibility these young frontline employees take on in keeping the party running smoothly. Due to this experience, we won’t be returning to Airtastic for future parties. In contrast, our experience at Playzone was exceptional. The staff were friendly, proactive, and well-organized. The management team was approachable and solution-oriented, and the entire event ran without a hitch—we never had to chase anyone for basic needs like drinks or extra supplies. It felt like a far more guest-focused and efficiently managed environment. Another point worth noting: at Playzone, staff are allowed to keep any tips they receive, which feels much more fair and motivating for those working hard to create a good experience. They also have tip jars which presumably is split between all staff equally. We also visit Playzone during the week from time to time, and the weekday team (mainly the lovely ladies we’ve seen regularly) are always happy to accommodate our kids—whether it’s opening the rock wall or setting up the bouncy castle. They go above and beyond, and it genuinely makes a difference. Overall, we would confidently recommend Playzone over Airtastic based on both party and weekday visits.
