Kurt was an amazing tour guide. He provided the perfect balance of education and fun throughout the tour. Through Kurt, we learned so much about Hawaiian culture, landscape, history, etc as well as photography as we were able to capture beautiful photos on our phones with his tips. We had a bit of a quiet group and it was a cloudy/windy day but Kurt was able to navigate that with the best energy and humor which allowed for a fun and pleasant experience. I would definitely do another tour with Kurt and would recommend booking the sunrise tour directly through Oahu Photography Tours. Thanks Kurt!!
We had a really great time on this photo tour. Emily, our guide, was incredibly enthusiastic and made the whole experience fun and engaging. The viewpoints were absolutely amazing, and we never felt rushed—there was plenty of time to enjoy each stop and take photos. The lunch stop was at a delicious place with great options to buy. Emily was also happy to help take nice pictures, which made the day even better. Overall, it was a relaxed, well-organized tour and a fantastic experience from start to finish.
A fabulous day with a fabulous guide. Kurt made us feel welcome and looked after. He was kind and considerate of our needs and assisted us easily throuout the day. He was so funny and shared his local knowledge and insights with us. The time went so fast but it was all a wonderful experience.
We had such an amazing time on the Oahu Photography Tour! Our guide Mac was the best, super fun, friendly, and kept the whole day entertaining. The tour was about 9–10 hours, but it honestly didn’t feel that long because we were having such a great time. Mac took us to some of the most scenic spots around Oahu, including a few hidden gems, and snapped awesome photos for us. He kept everyone laughing with his jokes, treated the group to Leonard’s malasadas (so good!), and even managed to fit in a quick coffee tour on our way back. The whole group was great, and Mac’s energy really made the experience extra special. Oahu is stunning, and seeing it through this tour made it even better. Highly recommend!
The tour was awesome! And it was a pleasure to have Andrew as our guide. He was friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and kind. Not only did I enjoy the beautiful scenery and delicious food, but I learned new things about Hawaii. And I also learned new techniques for taking pictures that I will certainly use in the future. We had the absolute pleasure of touring with Chris from Oahu Photo Tours, and it was nothing short of unforgettable! From the very beginning, he made us feel comfortable with his warm and friendly personality. You can instantly tell that he’s not only a fantastic guide but also a truly passionate photographer. Chris knows the island inside out and took us to breathtaking spots we never would have discovered on our own. He always had the perfect timing and the best angles in mind, which gave us the chance to capture incredible shots – whether it was at the beach, in the mountains, or from hidden lookout points. What stood out the most was how flexible and attentive he was. Chris took the time to answer our questions, shared great photography tips, and gave us deeper insights into Hawaiian culture. You can really feel how much he loves what he does. By the end of the day, we didn’t just have stunning photos, but also the feeling that we had truly experienced Oahu in a unique and special way. If you want to see the island beyond the usual tourist paths, I can’t recommend this tour – and especially Chris – highly enough!

Our guide, Emily was awesome. She took us to the most breathtaking, picturesque spots on Oahu while giving us the history of the area. She provided great photography tips. The cost was very reasonable especially since there were only four people on the tour. I highly recommend this tour company.
