This is our first visit to Charleston. Eric gave a great tour and overview of the historic district. He keeps his groups small and intimate. Because he’s an historian he paints a detailed canvas of the city and its place in US history from its founding through the post civil- war era. He’s also great on focusing on what he knows best and will refer you to other Charleston landmarks and tours that might focus on other areas of interest. Highly recommended!
This was probably our 5th walking tour of Charleston and it was by far the best. If you actually want to learn the history of the city I don't think there is anyone better than Eric. His depth of knowledge was amazing and hearing his life experiences in this beautiful city made for a very enjoyable tour. I would highly recommend.
