The Mont Zodiac 700 is a premium cold-weather down sleeping bag designed for comfort and reliability in harsh, three- to four-season conditions, including trips above the snowline. Suitable for warm sleepers down to –10°C and cold sleepers down to –3°C, it offers excellent insulation using high-loft 680–750 premium white duck down with a water-resistant DWR treatment. The bag features a generous adjustable hood, internal security pocket, and full-length YKK zips for versatility—allowing it to be opened into a quilt or paired with another Zodiac bag. Durable tuck stitching, hydrophobic Epic thread, and a large 3D draft tube all work together to prevent heat loss and maintain warmth through the night.
Built with lightweight yet strong 30-denier nylon fabrics, the Zodiac 700 balances warmth, durability, and packability at approximately 1.3 kg. Additional comfort features include an internal shoulder collar muff to retain body heat, anti-snag zip protection, and an included silk liner for hygiene and added warmth. Each rental comes with a compression stuff sack for easy packing. All sleeping bags must be used with the supplied liner, and all hired gear must be returned to our Halls Gap office unless otherwise arranged.
