Level: Beginner-K1 variant-K3. The El Cáliz via ferrata is perfect for those new to this exciting discipline. The route stretches approximately 300 meters with a vertical gain of around 120 meters, offering a manageable yet engaging challenge. Despite being a short activity, it is highly appealing due to both the physical challenge it provides and the beautiful natural surroundings. Participants can enjoy a gradual introduction to via ferrata techniques while taking in the scenic landscape.

The El Cáliz via ferrata offers two distinct routes: one easier and one more demanding. The adventure begins with simple sections to help participants build confidence, and as the ascent progresses, climbers will encounter more vertical sections that test strength and technique. This combination of accessibility and challenge makes El Cáliz an ideal starting point for beginners while still providing excitement and adventure.

Super nice route. Done with two kids. If you keep left - you skip the bridge. Up approx 1 hour from the sign. Them down an easy path - cannot go wrong. To find it. Find the gas station in the village and go up towards the route. You can probably park in the one way street. The rocky road continues upwards - follow it then on your left you will find it. It seems to be equal to the Cadiz route which is the sign at the start of the climb.

6a climb. My first time, and if you're not afraid of heights, it'll feel much easier than you think. Zero difficulty. There's a small cable bridge that you can use to link up to the other crag or return and descend via the trail. You can do it in an hour. There's another route nearby, but since it didn't have a pulley system, we couldn't do it. We went on our own since we had harnesses, energy absorbers, and helmets. The views are spectacular. Easy parking.

A great via ferrata to try and see if this fantastic sport is for you. It doesn't have major physical challenges, but your steadiness and nerve will be tested on its vertical wall, where the ascent is easy thanks to the well-placed and spaced rungs. The bridge, with its short spans, is perfect, and if you don't like the escape route, you can easily bypass it. The only downside is that it's too short.

A great half day out, the routes are fun, and you can easily get back to the track by walking down from the top of each route- the two routes are graded AD and D, I hired my via ferrata kit from Nor3 Turismo Activo. In Ramales, which was ideal!
