Heartbeat Tour of Filming Locations

The Heartbeat Tour offers fans a chance to explore the iconic filming locations of the beloved series while enjoying the charm and scenery of the North Yorkshire Moors. The tour begins in York and first takes you to Whitby, a coastal town known for its links to Dracula and Captain Cook. Whitby appeared as itself in the show and you will enjoy a guided walk through its atmospheric streets to see memorable filming spots. You will then have time to enjoy lunch in one of Whitbys famous fish and chip restaurants before continuing your journey into the moors.

After lunch, the tour heads to the village of Aidensfield, the heart of the series and home to many of its most recognisable locations. A guided tour will lead you to the Bernie Scripps Garage and Funeral Parlour, the train station featured as Aidensfield station and also used as Hogsmeade in the first Harry Potter film, and other familiar village landmarks. You will also visit the post office and local stores before relaxing with a drink in the Aidensfield Arms pub.
