Really enjoyed this walking tour. Anita was amazing, VERY knowledgeable and delighted in sharing interesting stories about the incredible history of Budapest. Engaging, great sense of humour, enthusiastic and very understanding of our needs. We are a family of 4 from London and visited Vienna, Budapest and Prague in August 2025. We went on a private tour of Budapest with Budapest Locals guide Anita. Anita and our car driver were both very personable, flexible and helpful. Anita communicated proactively prior to the trip. She picked us up from the train station, showed us around the must see locations in Budapest, shared some great stories and history, took pictures for us and dropped us back at the station. We did the “Budapest Essentials Private Tour (Highlights and Hidden Sights)” with Anita, and absolutely recommend the tour. Reasons are that Anita is very knowledgeable and engaging, starting in a relaxed manner providing a history of Hungary and Hungarians. This was followed by detailed information at all the stops we made. In addition local knowledge sharing of how to buy a travel ticket, including a hands on demo has made our next few days easy. Also suggestions on other activities, sites to visit, restaurants and wines were fantastic and very helpful and took this tour to another level for us….12/10.
