Really enjoyed our trip from Dun Laoghaire to Howth. Paid €28 for a single ticket when we boarded and with the receipt we were allowed to buy a Dart ticket for just €2 ( didn’t try it tho’) We had great weather and gentle ride. The journey gave us the opportunity to view the Howth Peninsula from another perspective. The crew were very polite & welcoming, the boat was spotless Added bonus was the sight of 3 bottlenose dolphins near The Bailey lighthouse

Totally unplanned, spontaneous and a last-minute decision turned out to be a beautiful and memorable experience for my grandmom and me. We stumbled upon Dublin Bay Cruises on a lovely summer Saturday morning. The weather, the blue sky, even the breeze were perfect. Without a ticket booked in advance, we asked by a few crew members to wait until all the pre-booked passengers boarded, to see if there were any places available. Luckily, we were accommodated with two seats next to the control cabin and a space for my grandmom’s wheelchair. The crew members were all very helpful and friendly. The cruise itself was about an hour long (EUR 28/person). Since it’s a sea cruise rather than a river one, the price felt fair considering the experience. Along the way, we listened to interesting live commentary about Dublin Harbour, the Poolbeg Chimneys, and the local folklore, including the story of the giant who is said to be resting at Howth Head. The views were spectacular with the wide open Dublin Bay, Bull Island, Dalkey Island, and Howth cliffs all looked perfect against the clear blue skies. The feeling of being in the middle of the sea, embraced by the colours of the ocean and the sky, with fresh sea breezes on our faces, is something my grandmom and I, we will remember for a long time. For my grandmom, who mostly spent time indoors, this turned out to be an unexpectedly joyful experience, serene, accessible, and full of beauty.

Took cruise from Dublin to Dun Laoghaire and then on to Howth. Great day out. To see a different part of wider Dublin. Returned to Dublin via the Dart from Howth. Even saw seals on Howth harbour

Definitely worth a trip from Dun Laoghaire to Howth and return (weekends only). Friendly staff and good guide with a wicked sense of humour. Well stocked bar including all drinks and snacks. Comfortable seating on upper and lower decks and lots of standing space.

Had a great trip from Dun Laoire to Howth. Highly recommend this company. Staff are all lovely. My daughter won our trip in an online father's day competition in 2023 and they had no problem honoring the prize. Thanks a million
